U15AA, U18AA and Jr. 67's Weekend Opener!
The 67's season is in full swing this weekend with the Jr. 67's Weekend Opener event and both our U18 and U15 67's opening up their regular season. This Friday at Sandy Hill Arena the festivities begin with our U18AA season and home opener at Sandy Hill Arena. Puck drops at 6pm as they take on the EO Stars. Immediately following their game, the Jr. 67's will play their Weekend Opener game against North York. The event will feature a pregame tailgate BBQ, basket raffle, and 50/50 among other activities. Notably, AC CKDJ 107.9FM will be broadcasting the game and calling the play by play on the radio, and the first 25 fans to visit their tent will receive giveaways!
At the game, we will be collecting donations for our friends and partner the Interval House of Ottawa. Items collected include:
Laundry pods, body wash, dog and cat food, cat litter, gift cards (gas, coffee, groceries, entertainment), larger sized diapers, pull-ups, and baby wipes.
On Saturday, our U15 67's open their season on the road against the Lady Sens. Game time is 3:30pm at Tony Graham Recreation Complex. Meanwhile, back at Sandy Hill Arena the Jr. 67's will host North York for the second game of the weekend for the Skate For The Cause: Leukemia game at 4pm. At the game, funds will be raised in support of leukemia research. Entry to the game will be $5 or free with a 67's Skate for the Cause bracelet. A bake sale will be hosted as well as other activities throughout the game.
